The A la Carte Restaurant offers some of the best local cuisine in the area. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as drinks & sundowners on the surrounding deck overlooking the expansive waterhole from where you might see some game species.
Nearby attractions include the culture-rich town of Oudtshoorn, Swartberg Mountain Nature Reserve, Cango Caves, Ostrich Farm, Wine Farm and the Gamaskloof Valley (also known as “Die Hell”).
Overnight guests staying on the reserve have access to the swimming pool, situated on the edge of the waterhole – an amazing place to relax and enjoy a nice swim whilst having the wildlife close to you. Towels and drinking water are available at the pool bar.

There are 4 Family Units available which include a spacious main room (King Size bed) and a children’s room with a shared en-suite bathroom separating the rooms. These units can accommodate a family of up to 5 people. True Karoo fynbos and Bushveld surrounds these tents and provide an elevated view of the surroundings and are near to the waterhole.
Bush Safari Experience (included):
During game drives with your highly qualified and knowledgeable Ranger, you can expect to experience true Karoo vegetation from open 4x4 game viewing vehicles.
A wide range of animals include Hippo, Elephant, Giraffe, Eland, Zebra, Buffalo, Rhino, Springbok and much more.
Game drives last 2 hours on average. Mid-way through your Safari, as the sun is about to set over the Karoo, you'll stop over at a magnificent lookout point with refreshments and snacks included.
Elephant Feeding Experience (included):
While feeding 3 Elephants you get to experience them up close and personally. You will find they may be huge, but are as gentle as can be.
Guests may feed them, touch them and take photos with them while skilled Elephant guides share their knowledge of these gentle giants with you.
Afterwards, you may even be rewarded with an Elephant hug as a special goodbye.
These African Elephants are orphans from the Kruger National Park. Their parents were poached and the reserve is fortunate that they have ended up in their care.
Elephants are very affectionate and caring animals. You will immediately experience this when you get to meet these. Guides are more than happy to answer as many questions as you like.

Guests are able to book a treatment at the onsite spa. Allow yourself the utmost relaxation during your stay. Offering a variety of treatments, massages and facials.
