All meals are inspired by generations-old recipes and prepared with fresh produce from the fertile valley and surrounds. Conference and Event Conveniences:

 

Offering business professionals the choice of three upmarket conference and meeting venues with multi-media equipment and comfortable amenities in a one-of-its kind setting. These venues can accommodate small teams of 10 people, or larger groups of up to 150 people for conferences and events.

 

Conference rates from R 195 to R 235 per delegate per day, including lunch. Conference and event packages can also be tailored to suit specific, individual requirements.

 

Rural and Rustic Charm:

 

Weddings on the farm are celebrated in the historic wine cellar that can seat up to 120 people with a dance floor. The tranquil garden with towering oaks in front of the Manor House can be used for a romantic ceremony or to enjoy cocktails and canapés before a formal reception. The endless vistas, surrounding vineyards and rural charm of the buildings provide a beautiful canvas to capture lasting memories.

The Country House is nestled at the end of the Nuy Valley, at the foot of the Langeberg Mountain Range. Taste Wine at Nuy Wine Cellar:

 

Nuy is one of the smallest co-operative cellars in South Africa, and enjoys a widespread reputation for its excellent wines, which win top prizes at local and national wine shows annually. The cellar offers sparkling wine, dry, off-dry and semi-sweet white wines; dry red wines; white and red fortified wines and grape juice. Open daily 08h30 - 16h30 (Weekends until 12h30).

 

Sample Olives at Willow Creek Estate:

 

With more than 220 hectares planted with 163 000 olive trees, Willow Creek is one of the largest estate olive oil producers in the Southern Hemisphere. The unique terrior of the Nuy Valley is perfect for olives, and Willow Creek produces an exceptionally complex, robust, yet well-balanced range of olive oils. Open Mondays to Fridays 08h30 - 16h30 (Saturdays 09h30 - 12h30).

 

KWV Brandy Cellar:

 

Tantalise your senses with a guided tour through the KWV brandy-distilling cellar - the largest in the world. Explore the various stages of brandy making in this working distillery that gives the best of old-world know-how with the latest industry innovations. Brandy Tasting: Mon - Fri, 10h00 - 15h00. Cellar Tours: Monday to Fridays, 10h00 (Afrikaans), 14h00 (English).

 

Karoo Desert National Botanical Garden:

 

The only truly succulent garden in the southern hemisphere that displays one of the largest collections of indigenous succulents in Africa. This jewel of the garden with 144ha of natural semi-desert vegetation and landscaped gardens, features the unique plants of the drier parts in South Africa. It is a must for plant lovers with more than300 rare and endangered species. Open daily from 07h00 - 18h00.

 

Kleinplasie Open Air Museum:

 

This museum shows the lifestyle of the agricultural community in the Cape between 1700 and 1900. Each building presents a particular agricultural sector displaying a variety of home and agricultural activities. Daily traditional activities include tobacco rolling, coffee roasting and donkey cart rides. Open Mon - Sat, 09h00 - 17h00

 

Worcester Golf Club:

 

Situated in the foothills of the Brandwacht Mountains, this 18-hole Gary Player designed golf course offers panoramic views of Worcester and the Breede River Valley. It is a challenging course with a combination of biosphere, parklands and links, which rewards daring shots but can severely punish bad ones.

 

Glider Flying:

 

The Cape Gliding Club offers scenic flights in two-seater, un-powered aeroplanes. Using the energy from air currents to lift and sustain gliders in the air, it provides an unforgettable experience with panoramic views whilst soaring in the skies. The club operates mostly over weekends and public holidays, but arrangements for private flights can be made.
