Luxury shouldn’t exclude playfulness! Rooms & communal spaces have been creatively & magically retouched. Expect the unexpected - you’ll be pleasantly surprised, entertained & interested.

The warm and hospitable staff will guide you through this gentle journey throughout your stay by offering little-known information about the surrounds and the history whilst also performing the necessary business of hotels in a calm and caring manner.

The big talking point is the hotels ‘penthouse’ trailer park, where a collection of vintage Airstream caravans nestle beneath the backdrop of Table Mountain.

Each of the 7 two-sleeper trailer suites have been conceptualized and designed by local artists and makes for an accommodation destination like no other.

The philosophy is simple – provide excellent service, clean, comfortable rooms, a creative feel and charge less for it.

Superior Rooms:

Chic yet delicately daring, the rooms are subtle, stylish and silvery.

Air-conditioned, en-suite and entertaining; the comforts of an internationally recognised four-star hotel room are made all the more delicious when peppered with clever local touches.

Snug furry blankets add texture to cool cotton linen-whites, whilst geographic origami inspires you to plan your travels on silver-etched black globes.

Luxe out in your en-suite marble bathroom as you daydream about adventures, seeping in the ebb and flow of memories that you want to hold onto forever.

Sugar Daddy Suite:

If you take your privacy and comfort  seriously, then you’ll love this Suite.

Two separate suites have their own secluded, wooden-decked patios, elegant lounges with plasma TV, king-size beds and deluxe bathrooms.

It’s the kind of place you won’t want to leave – thank goodness Cape Town is full of gorgeous places and people and things that you’ll be convinced to make the trip outside.

The Famous Airstream Penthouse:

A gleaming fleet of seven iconic American Airstream trailers have packed up their corndogs and tucked away their picnic blankets to roost on the rooftop of the Hotel.

Each of the 7 trailers has been handed over to incredibly creative Capetonians to find new life through playful, eccentric and dazzling décor interpretations on how life in an Airstream can be.

Your Airstream is enclosed by a tidy garden complete with US Postal Service mailboxes.

Watch an outdoor movie on hot summer nights and find an excuse to make this the destination of your next gathering of family and friends. Enjoy fresh popcorn and drinks from the bar as you relax under the stars while you partake in this once-weekly open-air cinema.

All the Airstreams are air-conditioned, incredibly well-insulated, have hot and cold running water, flushing toilets and showers.

The Airstream Penthouse Park can be chosen for your event and your guests will never forget it. The communal areas include a comfy tented sky bar with generous couches and heaters to keep you warm during winter. The trailers are connected by a series of timber walkways and indigenous gardens.

Ideal for family gatherings, special birthdays, a wedding or a corporate launch. The park can accommodate up to 65 guests. The open-air cinema is ideal for screening corporate videos or family movies.

Catering by the hotel can be arranged, or put on an American style barbeque. The bar will also be stocked and your music loaded.

The bar is not just a cool bar; it’s a palette of metallics and a roll-call of hip South African creative’s. White leather, shimmery surfaces, dangly bling chains and quirky gold treasures in jewel boxes set the scene for much shiny celebration.

The bar staff is of master class. An extensive wine list will thrill the connoisseur and whiskey drinkers will be warmed by the diverse array of single malts. Expect to find a few Capetonians sipping on their Mojito’s and Martini’s.

The corridor to the bar is flanked by Cape Town’s only digital art and photographic gallery. The screens offer up contributions from the cities top talent showcasing the beauty and culture of Africa’s creative mecca.

A very yummy corner café serves an excellent range – buffet salads, hot bakes, curries and home-baked breads, or you could go A la Carte.

Dine on fresh fish or a good cut of meat at dinner, or indulge yourself with a night in and some room service. An extensive wine list is available too.
